Welcome to Folklore & Flour Co.! Please review the following Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. By purchasing from my bakery, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Ordering Policies

  • Order Availability: Orders can be placed through our website when the “Add to Cart” option is available. Unless otherwise specified, ordering is open Monday through Wednesday each week.

  • Pickup and Delivery: Orders placed during the open ordering period (Monday-Wednesday) will be available for pickup or local delivery on Thursday or Friday of the same week. Specific times and instructions will be provided after checkout based on your place in my order queue.

  • Custom and Private Orders: For private or custom orders, scheduling and delivery/pickup timelines will be arranged individually and confirmed in writing.

2. Payment and Pricing

  • Payment is required in full at the time of order placement.

  • Prices for all products are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice. Special promotions or discounts, if applicable, will be reflected at checkout.

3. Changes and Cancellations

  • Requests for changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email or text) at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee changes after this time.

  • For custom orders, changes or cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the agreed pickup/delivery time may incur a fee, as materials and preparation work may already be underway.

4. Pickup and Delivery Policies

  • Pickup: Pickup orders will be available at the designated location. Please arrive within the scheduled timeframe to ensure product freshness.

  • Delivery: Delivery is available within Champaign County. Specific delivery times will be communicated after your order is placed. A small delivery fee may apply, which will be displayed at checkout.

  • Folklore & Flour Co. is not responsible for items left unattended after delivery or pickup.

5. Product Quality and Handling

  • All items are prepared fresh and with care using high-quality ingredients. To maintain optimal freshness, please follow storage instructions provided with your order.

  • Due to the nature of cottage bakery products, slight variations in appearance or size may occur. These differences are part of the handmade charm and do not affect quality or taste.

  • We cannot guarantee allergen-free products as our kitchen processes wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy. Customers with severe allergies should take this into consideration when ordering.

6. Refunds and Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

  • If there is an issue with your order (e.g., incorrect items or quality concerns), please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. We will evaluate concerns on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement or store credit as appropriate.

7. Custom and Specialty Orders

  • Custom orders are subject to availability and may require a minimum lead time. Please contact us directly to discuss your request.

  • Specialty seasonal offerings (e.g., Valentine’s Day menu) will have specific ordering and pickup/delivery windows outlined on our website.

8. Privacy and Communication

  • Customer contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, will be used solely for communication regarding orders and occasional bakery updates. We will never share or sell your information.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Folklore & Flour Co. reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
